17/11/09 Raupo Green Refurbishing As you will have noticed the front tier of Raupo, (hole 2 and 11), has been leveled and in the coming weeks will be prepared for sewing. At the present there is a drop zone if you land on the new surface. Once the surface has been sewn with grass it is very important that it is left to take before it is walked on. At that time we will construct a temporary green at the front of the green which you will play to, therefore avoiding contact with the newly sewn area. Check out the notice board in the foyer for details. Your patient over this period is appreciated. |

It is great to see this development and Chris’ efforts will create a great asset for the club in the future. The numbers have made it possible to consider developing a junior team to play interclub golf in the coming years. If you see the junior golfers about the course make them welcome and if possible offer Chris any support you can towards training and coaching.
